ABOUT US

        Rotary club of Salem phoenix was formed by few of existing Rotary members Rtn. J. Kesavan, Rtn. Kesavaraj, Rtn. S. Hemnath, Rtn. P. Boobesh, Rtn. Sasi & Rtn. Muthukumar along with other new members to compose and extend their Rotary service to the society. The club members organized a committee and Choose Rtn. J. Kesavan to be the Charter President of the club. Rotary Club of Salem Junction & Rotary Club of Salem Gugai came forward to sponsor Rotary Club of Salem Phoenix under the president ship of Rtn. J. Kesavan. Rotary District 2982 Governor Rtn. P.Saravanan appointed Rtn. SO. Kannan as Governor’s Special Representative to Guide and assist the newly formed club. Rotary International chartered the club on July 22, 2022, and assigned it the charter number 224653 . A  formal installation ceremony held at Rotary Hall in Salem, Dt. Governor Rtn. P.Saravanan, who served as the event's chief guest, installed the office bearers and handed the charter to Club President in the presence of Rtn. P. Jagadeesh, Assistant Governor . Guest of Honor DGND. Rtn. Sivakumar, Dt. General Secretary, Rtn. Annadurai, Dt. Admin Secretary Rtn. Thiruvalluvan and other District Officials Graced the event. Committee of the club planned and sketched a Clear By Law with the recommendations of Rotary International and formed a decent and responsible team to go on further.
